Speeches, Parties, or Acoustic Music; 50 audience members.

If you are hosting an event with up to 50 people, our Vocal PA packages are exactly what you need for clear speeches, acoustic artists, and background music. We generally recommend one powered speaker per 50 people.

If you need extra bass for a party, or monitor speakers so your band can hear themselves, we can easily add those to your package. Whether you need a simple plug-and-play setup for a wedding ceremony or a reliable system for a corporate presentation, these top-tier dB Technologies speakers deliver crystal-clear audio that rivals JBL and RCF systems.

DJ's, Dance Groups, Small Bands, MC's, Public Address; 50- 150 audience members.

If you are hosting a larger party, a school ball, or bringing in a DJ or small band, our Basic PA packages offer the extra volume and bass you need for up to 150 people.

These setups come complete with powered speakers, a subwoofer, a mixing console, and all the necessary cables to get you going. If your DJ needs specific gear, like Pioneer CDJs or turntables, we can easily add those to your rental. We also stock all the backline, microphones, and stage lighting a band needs to put on a great show. If you’d rather not run the sound yourself, our experienced Auckland technicians can deliver, set up, and operate the gear so you can just enjoy the event.

Bands, DJ's, Dance Groups, 150- 300 audience members.

When you are expecting up to 300 people for a full band, school ball, or corporate event, our Standard PA packages step up the power. These systems are perfect for larger indoor venues, bars, or outdoor spaces that need serious volume and clarity.

Each package includes high-end dB Technologies powered speakers (delivering the same professional tier of quality as JBL or RCF) and a mixing console. We supply all the necessary cables so you are ready to plug in and play. If you are booking this for a live band, just let us know—we can easily supply the foldback monitors, microphone kits, backline, and stage lighting to complete the setup.

Concerts and Bands, or Hall Sized Venue; for 200- 500 audience members.

For crowds between 200 and 500 people—whether it’s a large hall concert, an outdoor cultural festival, or a “bands-in-parks” gig—you need a system designed for serious coverage and throw. Our Medium PA Packages and compact Line Array systems deliver the power and wide sound dispersion required for larger audiences.

At this scale, having the right gear is only half the battle. We highly recommend having our experienced Auckland sound technicians deliver, set up, and operate these larger systems for you so you get the best possible mix without the stress. If your event is indoors in a venue with tricky, echoing acoustics (like a school hall), we can also supply heavy push-pole drapes to help control the sound and ensure your band or presenters sound fantastic.

Concerts and Festivals;
500- 5000+ audience members

For major events, outdoor festivals, or crowds exceeding 500 people, standard speakers simply won’t cut it. Our large-format Line Array systems are designed specifically to throw clear, even sound across massive outdoor spaces or expansive indoor areas.

Because every large-scale event is unique, these systems are fully modular—we scale the number of speakers and subwoofers to perfectly match your audience size and venue. Given the technical complexity of flying line arrays and tuning them for large spaces, our Auckland event production team handles the complete delivery, setup, and mixing for you. If you are building a festival from the ground up, we can also supply the heavy-duty outdoor staging and lighting rigs to match.

Sound System installation and sales

Looking for a permanent setup? We don’t just rent gear; we also design, sell, and install custom sound systems for Auckland venues, school halls, gyms, and bars. The best part? We offer a “try before you buy” approach. You can hire a system short-term to hear exactly how it sounds in your venue before committing to a permanent installation.

What is the difference between a PA and a Sound System?

We get asked this all the time! People often use the terms interchangeably, and that is completely fine with us.

Technically, a PA (Public Address) System is designed primarily for clear speech—like a wedding celebrant, an MC, or a corporate presentation. A Sound System usually implies you need the full frequency range (including heavy bass) for music, like a live band or a DJ.

But honestly, don’t worry about the terminology! Whether you ask for a PA or a sound system, we will just ask you a few quick questions about your event to make sure we provide you with the exact right solution.
